Hailey Morin, Assistant Coach
Coach Hailey has been teaching athletes fundamental volleyball skills at clinics and camps for past few years. She is an accomplished athlete having played D1 college volleyball. Hailey spent her teenage years playing club volleyball at Austin Juniors, TAV, Dallas Premier, and finally Excel! In high school, Hailey was a 3 year letterman. She played DS/Libero all of her years and received most of her defensive training during her club years from Ping Cao, top coach in the area and China’s National Player of the Year. She was fortunate enough to receive coaching from many top team coaches in NTR as well as many college coaches during volleyball career. Hailey was recruited by North Texas, Wake Forest, TCU, University of Houston, Ball State, University of Memphis, and Grand Canyon University to play college volleyball. Hailey played volleyball at Grand Canyon University, a D1 program in Phoenix, AZ. Later she decided to give up college volleyball and focus on nursing and coaching.
Coach Hailey's passion for the game and competitiveness are two things that will always stick with her. Coach Hailey's coaching philosophy is to not only help them improve as better volleyball players on and off the court, but also as better women and respectable athletes going forward.
