Cara Schultz returns for her second season with EXCEL Volleyball Club, bringing the elite perspective of a Division I champion to the sidelines. A standout alumna of Yale University, Cara combines high-level technical expertise with a “scholar-athlete” mindset, providing invaluable mentorship for athletes striving to compete at the collegiate level.

As a four-year starter, Cara was a cornerstone of the Bulldogs’ success in the Ivy League. She played a pivotal role in leading her team to multiple Ivy League Championships and NCAA Tournament appearances.  A versatile threat at the net and behind the service line, Cara earned All-Ivy League recognition and was consistently ranked among the conference leaders in service aces and kills.

Cara believes that volleyball is a game of both precision and passion. She is committed to fostering a gym culture where technical discipline is the standard, but where athletes also develop the resilience and confidence to lead their teammates through the highs and lows of national competition.
