Dave Bose brings over 30 years of volleyball expertise to the EXCEL coaching staff, combining a deep-rooted passion for the game with a proven track record of championship-level leadership. Currently in his 10th year as a head coach, Dave has a reputation for developing high-performing teams that excel under pressure.

His success was most recently highlighted by leading EXCEL 15 National Gold to an official qualification for the 2026 Girls Junior National Championships (GJNC) in the 15 American division.

Dave’s coaching philosophy is informed by his extensive experience as an elite competitor. He served as an Outside Hitter for the University of Notre Dame Men’s Club Volleyball team, an experience that shaped his understanding of high-level systems and court strategy. With three decades of playing experience, Dave possesses a unique ability to break down complex mechanics and foster a high “volleyball IQ” in his athletes.
