Debi Lamb’s love for volleyball started early—as a passionate and competitive junior player, she quickly fell in love with the fast pace, strategy, and teamwork that define the sport. Her talent and dedication earned her a full-ride scholarship to Texas Wesleyan University, where she thrived as a pin hitter and earned her Bachelor of Science in Education.
After college graduation, Debi didn’t stray far from the court. She stepped into the role of Assistant Volleyball Coach at Texas Wesleyan University, a position she held for five years. During her time there, she helped guide the team to two Elite 8 appearances at the NAIA National Tournament, all while earning her Master’s Degree in Education. Her coaching style is disciplined yet supportive approach, emphasizing fundamentals, game strategy, teamwork, and mental toughness.

Beyond the collegiate level, Debi made a name for herself in the club world as the Tournament Director for Cowtown Volleyfest for over a decade. Her leadership helped shape the tournament into a competitive and well-run experience for players and coaches from across the North Texas Region.

As life evolved, so did her coaching journey. When her children, Kylee and Tyler, began playing volleyball, Debi dove into the recreational and club scenes with the same passion and drive she’d always brought to the game. She’s been coaching ever since—helping young athletes build confidence, sharpen their skills, and discover their love for volleyball!
