Bio
John is entering his first season at Excel in 2023-2024. Growing up surrounded by volleyball, thanks to his two sisters, he has always had a great love and passion for the sport. He first began playing his junior year of high school, when he and his parents moved to Seoul, South Korea. At his high school there, John set a school record in kill percentages.
Since then, John continued to play non-stop, having played club volleyball at the University of Mississippi, and recreationally – both indoor and sand – since relocating to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex after college graduation in 2019.
John hopes to share his lifelong love of the sport with his players and help them grow both on and off the court.
