Bio

Kacie Hengler began her coaching career in the volleyball-rich environment of Southern California, where she coached at a small Christian school before being invited to join
the prestigious Oaks Christian High School. Later, due to her husband’s career move, she relocated to Oxford, Mississippi, where she took on the role of owner and club
director at Oxford Volleyball Club and became the head coach at Oxford High School and later the head coach at Regents School of Oxford. During her time in Oxford she
took Oxford Volleyball Club from a regional competing club to a national contender. She also led Regents to multiple state championships.
Kacie’s primary goal as a volleyball coach is to instill proper fundamentals across all levels of play—a goal that has been instilled in her by her former coaches/mentors who
are some of the most respected coaches and players in the country: Tom Pestolesi (U.S. Women’s National Assistant Coach under Karch Kiraly), Albert Gasparian (U.S.
Women’s National Assistant in 1993 & 1997), and 3-Time Olympic Beach Volleyball Gold Medalist and NCAA National Champion, Misty May-Trainer.
Her coaching philosophy revolves around fostering a competitive spirit, others-focused teamwork, and developing a strong love for the game, all while maintaining a balanced
and dynamic family life. Kacie is deeply committed to glorifying God in all her endeavors, ensuring that her approach to coaching reflects her values and beliefs.
Kacie is a devoted mother to eight children, seven daughters and a son. All six of her oldest daughters are actively involved in volleyball, playing for Excel Volleyball Club,
competing on top teams above their age group. Her oldest two are currently training with NTDP (National Team Development Program).
