Bio

Prior to joining Excel in the 2022-2023, Jeremy was one of the original coaches that help start Drive Nation volleyball when it opened in fall of 2017. During his tenure at Drive, he started to create a name for himself as his preparation, knowledge, and leadership started to get recognition. His eagerness to be one of the best is contagious as it ignites his fellow coaches and teams he coaches to strive to reach their full potential.

In his first season with Excel, Jeremy qualified his 16 White team at the Northern Lights Qualifier in the USA division by taking the bronze medal. His team finished the season out competing in the Open division at Lonestar qualifier. He also assisted Excel 18 Red boys who are playing and competing in Open on the AAU circuit with the best teams in the nation. His team earned a Bronze medal in Open division at Dennis Lafata National Qualifier in St. Louis.

Jeremy has experience coaching girls and boys.  He will be taking both teams to USAV and AAU Nationals this summer. He has coached in all age groups 10’s all the way through 18’s. Regardless the age group, he enjoys developing players as they reach their goals to play at the collegiate level or just for the love of the game. While he is teaching and training, he emphasizes he development of fundamental skills and mechanics to maximize the opportunities for the athletes. Jeremy sets high expectations for all of his teams.

Jeremy has competed on the Texas Beach Volleyball Association and Texas Volleyball Tour in the Open division. He continues to compete in the sand when not coaching.  He has served as a Madsand Floater Coach since 2020.

Volleyball has played a significant part of my life over the years. I’ve had great opportunities to learn from the best as well as playing against high level players. Giving back to the next generation by sharing my knowledge and passion is the best gift I can give. I give 100% in everything I do and my hope that everyone recognizes that as I encounter them.  I also met my wife Hailey through playing volleyball.
